If your textures are not working, copy the "morphy raccoon" folder to your desktop.
When we update the set, you just need to replace the set file on your desktop from the updated file on the server. We still need to texture his hands... not sure why they didn't get textured along with the skin (but i like the idea of him wearing white gloves)
Anyway yea you are free to start blocking. If you have any questions you can contact me pleaaaaaaase

Notes from class
notes from class on tuesday.
-Ask yourselves the big question on who is this guy? Ask all types of questions about who a raccoon person would be.
-What is a dumpster diver? And what kinds of people would be dumpster divers?
-What the scenario that the person is in? Are they looking for something? Do they like trash? Do they eat from the trash? Did they lose an engagement ring? What is happing in the scene, why is there a guy going through the trash?
-Makes sure to think about how the whole short film will cut together. As well as don't have long transitions make your film in cuts that tell the whole story.
-Pick the most important five parts of your story and make those the shots. As long as they tell a clear and concise story.
-Simplify the storyboards and show what we want to show.
-Remember we can add sound in-between the cuts if the guy is doing something such as climbing up a wall, or noises in the dumpster of him rustling around.
-sImplify the shots as to why he is doing everything? Know the backstory.
Hey guys so these are the main notes that I got from class as we were getting feedback on our pitch to the class. Mainly we really need a character and a reason why the character is going into the trash can. As well as think of the whole story in shots. Hope these notes help you all a bit see you in class on thursday.

More Reference
These are more intense... lots of upside-down climbing.
and more intense ones!
This is a pretty cool climb. Lots of changing shapes
Climbing Reference
This one has some nice shots of people falling and dropping, which are sort of interesting.
This one has some interesting body shapes, but I especially like the slip near the beginning.
Sort of nice, especially if we have our guy climb onto a ledge. 8)
In this case, I think the climb down is as interesting as the climb up.
Sort of a careful climb.
I'll do one more post in a little while!
